Now you're inside the museum. On the walls are pictures of Saturn and a view of Pasadena, California, from space. The floor is covered with a mosaic of the Orion nebula. A podium holds a miniature Golden Record from the Voyager spacecraft. Three spacecraft pass along the ceiling. One spacecraft links to missions that study Earth, one links to missions that study the solar system and one spacecraft links to missions that study stars and galaxies. A rover moves crosses the floor. Your host, Curtis, says that NASA uses robotic spacecraft to go places and do things that humans cannot do. JPL oversees many robotic spacecraft missions for NASA. These spacecraft send back beautiful images and information about planets, stars, and more! Use the links above to learn more about each of the objects in this room. When you are ready click on the gallery link to learn about some of JPL's favorite images. Follow this link to go to the navigation bar.
